gShift’s February 2017 release includes two highlighted items:
- kontextURL Content Taxonomy Templates and System Tags
- gShift Reporting, kontextURL and Site Audit APIs
kontextURL Content Taxonomy Templates and System Tags
kontextURL Content Taxonomy Templates have been developed to enable larger organizations with multiple clients and/or Web presences to create consistent, controlled, templated Content Tag structures to be used across all clients or presences.
gShift will also be leveraging this feature to introduce an optional standardized Content Tag structure across all new kontextURL accounts to include Channel, Content Type, Document Type, Campaign, Influencer and Author Tags. The goal of the System Content Tags is to take the guess work out of how to segment content engagement for new kontextURL clients. This being said, you will still be able to use your existing Content Tags and create any additional custom Tags or Tag Values you may need for your own specific reporting purposes.
Please contact your Client Success Manager or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the new system Tags or how to create Taxonomy templates within an Agency or Enterprise account.

Organizations with API access will be able to pull data from gShift into their own proprietary or third-party applications for additional analysis or delivery purposes.
