gShift and Shopify have announced the availability of gShift’s SEO Keyword Ranking and Backlink Data app in the Shopify app store. More than 90,000 customers in 80 countries have built online businesses with the Shopify e-commerce platform in the past seven years. This is gShift’s second generation app for Shopify customers, offering enhanced data and functionality to help online merchants stay ahead of their competition. One of the biggest challenges of any web vendor is being found by consumers searching the web for products and services.
The gShift app provides Shopify merchants with a scheduled report detailing:
- How their online store ranks in the leading search engines for their most important keywords
- The number of backlinks they have pointed at them from other websites, which search engines see as an indicator of trust and authority
- How a competitor of their choosing is ranking on the same metrics
Armed with this data, Shopify vendors can more effectively optimize their websites over time.
The gShift app enables online merchants to track up to ten keyword phrases, which are charted in a report to help guide their web presence optimization efforts using SEO tools and tactics. gShift will also provide subscribers with insights on SEO best practices, such as those found in the Ten Tips for a Successful SEO Strategy Guide.
