gShift Chosen for the Canadian Technology Accelerator in New York City U.S. presence key to continued global growth
NEW YORK, New York (February 17, 2016) – gShift, a global provider of web presence analytics, has been selected to join the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program in New York City. Started in 2012 by the Canadian Consulate General as a way to provide Canadian digital technology media companies with resources to fast-track growth, gShift was selected for demonstrating high-potential and relevance in the NYC market.
“Being part of the CTA program is an excellent opportunity for gShift. We have the opportunity to expand our network of partners and clients, as we continue to focus on innovation,” says Krista LaRiviere, Cofounder and CEO of gShift. She adds, “We are very honored to be selected, and excited to tap into the resources provided by the program.”
“We are proud to have gShift participate in the CTA NYC Digital Tech Program. The caliber of Canadian companies selected to the CTA is high and we look forward to working with gShift over the next few months,” says Iréna F. Harris, Trade Commissioner/Chief Operating Officer for the Canadian Technology Accelerator
Selected companies receive the use of office space in New York City at 1412 Broadway, as well as mentoring sessions, pitch training, and business contacts, to further accelerate their growth and development. Specifically, the program aims to facilitate stronger footholds in the VC investment networks, build strategic partnerships and client procurement and help the companies expand their business operations into NYC.
The team at CTA NYC Digital Tech welcomed the newest batch of companies, dubbed “Group 13,” on Twitter on February 13, listing out all the participants selected in this latest round. However, the program officially gets underway on March 1, 2016.
