Digital Media Community Manager – Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Media Community Manager will implement our client’s Social Media marketing, including content strategy, develop brand awareness, and generate inbound traffic. The Community Manager is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing and implementing our client’s social media content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership. This position is full time salaried with benefits, including attendance at Social Media, blogging and industry-specific conferences. Your duties will include content writing in the creation of blogs, social media and client specific web site content that has local context to user based search keywords and keyword phrases.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Passion for SEO and overall content marketing. A college accreditation in digital / social media required or equivalent experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Creative writing skills in the multiple social channels
  • Ability to cultivate influencers and followers in the social media channels
  • Effective digital listening and conversational skills in the communities you are engaged in
