Do I have to install anything or add any tags to my website in order to use gShift Labs Web Presence Optimizer™?
No. There is nothing to install and nothing to download. gShift’s Web Presence Optimizer™ is a true Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. Once you have purchased a subscription you can gain access right away and start obtaining value within minutes.

Do I have to be using Google Analytics in order to use gShift’s Web Presence Optimizer™?
No you are not required to have Google Analytics installed on your website to use gShift, but you will find more value in gShift’s software if you do. If you are interested in having Google Analytics installed, our team can help you with that.

What information do I need to get started?
All you need to know to get started is your domain name, keywords you want to be found for. Optionally you can enter your competitors, social media profiles and Google Analytics profile.

What if I don’t know my keywords?
If you don’t know which keywords you want to be found for then we suggest you complete the workbook we’ve created called “Getting Your Keywords Right“. It takes about 10 minutes to complete and will give you a great starting point. Understanding and optimizing your keywords is an on-going process. We highly recommend ‘starting’ as a great first step.

What search engines do you work with?
gShift currently focuses on Google, Yahoo!,Bing and YouTube across all countries.

How often can I run a Report?
You can run a report as often as you like. There are no restrictions on running reports.

Does the gShift software have white-labeling capabilities?
Yes, if you are signed up for the gShift Labs Agency Program you can white-label the interface by uploading your logo and your clients’ logos.

I see gShift Labs is integrated with WordStream. Will it cost me extra to use this functionality?
No. It will not cost you more to use our WordStream functionality.

I don’t know anything about SEO. How long will it take me to learn to use gShift?
Typically it takes a couple of hours to familiarize yourself with the interface and the different components of the software. There is an optional training session with a qualified Account Manager that can be conducted. As well, we have a library of videos that we are always adding to, and our User Group meets regularly. SEO is always changing so it is an on-going learning process, even for us!

What if I don’t know who my online competitors are?
gShift offers Suggested Competitors for you to monitor based on the keywords you want to be found for.

Can I export data from gShift?
Yes, much of the data in gShift can be exported in .csv format or can be copied and pasted when reports are generated.

How many Web sites can I optimize in gShift?
Web sites, competitors, users, social accounts and domains are unlimited with your account.

I have a global audience, can I track how I’m doing in multiple countries?
Yes.  gShift enables you to see how you are ranking for the keyword phrases you want to be found for in many of the countries where Google maintains a separate search engine e.g. google.com, google.ca, google.co.uk.
